Here are my designs for my contents pages, I wanted to link it in with the pictures already used on the front page. I think having the photos along with the contents page will attract the reader to a page that interest them as not many people read the contents.

Design One

This is my first contents design, the contents title if done on photoshop would be larger and more obvious. The use of pictures down the right hand side makes it slightly more fun, but still informative and formal to match the school magazine. The images at the side will be used to show the various articles featured in the magazine. This contents page design is very typical of this kind of magazine. The page index is very simple placed down the left hand side of the page. 












Design Two
This is my second contents design. This is very similar to my first design except the title and the placing is different. The contents title is placed along the top of the page being quite bold. The page index is used in the conventional style of being placed on the left hand side going down. The photos at the bottom are there again to show the articles in the magazine and to make it look less formal and bland. The colours used on the contents will be dark blue matching the school colour. 






Design Three
This is my final design of a contents page. This design immediately looks more fun when you look at it due to everything being very offset. The images placed on the page i want to give a "polaroid" feel like they have be thrown there. The contents again is along the top. The page index will be placed between the pictures. I think this design gives a more creative feel to the contents. This design does not follow the usual conventions of a contents page.
