I have chosen this image as my front page, the reason I have done this is because I think it will attract my female audience as it incorporates a fashion aspect to the image. With the image on my front page I am going to make the image black and white so it is easier to use the red, black and white colour scheme. This is also similar to other images i have seen on a front page and I used a photo very similar for my mock up.
C O N T E N T S. P A G E.I have used these three images on my contents page to show images of different artists featured in the magazine. The first image is the same person featured on the front page making this a main focus point for my contents page, i have used this one as it is less serious and more fun for the contents page I also like how vibrant the image is. The second image i have used continues with the theme of the girls issue, this image is more indie also has a prop of the mouse ears which is relevant to the band being called "MOUSE ATTACK". The third image contents page is more punk rock giving it a edgier feel, i think this will attract my target audience appealing to every music taste.The four image is for a festival with the colours used showing a lot of light i think it gives the aspect of being at a festival. All off the images have been taking by me.
I have chosen this image for my double page spread as i think it shows more of an innocent side to the other photos i have used of my model. Also i think the background is suitable to be used over two pages with text over the top. I have used this as i saw a similar one to this with lily allen in NME when researching double pages.
